The 3-Day Seminar teaches the philosophy of nurturing parenting and how to implement and facilitate the Nurturing Parenting Programs®.

The Nurturing Parenting Programs® are evidence based programs recognized by the National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP), a division of SAMHSA.

The Nurturing Programs® have been implemented throughout the US and in other countries world-wide. In the US, the Nurturing Programs® are one of the top parenting programs for families receiving services in child welfare. Healthy Start, Head Start and other home visitation programs use the Nurturing Programs® as prevention-intervention parenting education. Since the programs were launched in 1983, we estimate over 1 million families have attended Nurturing Parenting classes.

Dr. Bavolek brings his vast experience in working with families, his knowledge of assessing high-risk parenting behaviors, and his entertaining style to facilitate and challenge participants to raise their level of competence in providing a proven parenting program.
