Lynn Franks is a Nationally Recognized Nurturing Parenting® Program Trainer/Consultant with OhioGuidestone – The Family Nurturing Center of Ohio.  Lynn has been a clinician in the social services field working with youth and families since 1997.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice from Wilmington College in 1997 and a Master’s Degree in Community from John Carroll University in 2000. 

In 2004 Lynn became employed by OhioGuidestone formerly known as Berea Children’s Home and Family Services, a non-profit child caring agency in Northeast Ohio.  Lynn joined the Family Treatment Department where she served as a School Based Therapist and currently is a Clinical Supervisor.  Lynn is a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Designation through the State of Ohio. 
 
Since 2010, Lynn has been utilizing the philosophy and constructs of Nurturing Parenting with the children and families that she has served at OhioGuidestone.  Lynn coordinates the Nurturing Parenting Program with a local department of children’s services where referrals are received for families who are at risk for having their children removed or are working toward reunification. 
 
Lynn resides in a suburb of Cleveland with her husband and two daughters who are very active in the Performing Arts.  Lynn believes that it is nurturing relationships that produce a strong family bond.
